Jump’n Jig is an accredited program designed for pre-school dancers ages 18 months to 5 years, and is a wonderful introduction to Irish Dance. The program was developed in Australia by Fiona Holmes, a qualified Irish dance teacher, adjudicator and primary school teacher to ensure dancers develop co-ordination, independence, social skills and a sense of musicality through
age-appropriate dance, music and play.
Claddagh is one of Australia’s foundation Jump’n Jig schools and is currently the only school in North Queensland to offer this amazing program. The studio principal, Colette Shields, an accredited Irish dance teacher, adjudicator and examiner, also has a Bachelor of Learning Management, majoring in Early Childhood.
